In your role, you will be part of the portfolio administration team and focus on our clients' portfolio administration and reporting.     We Expect You to Have: We expect you to have relevant education and at least 3–5 years of experience in similar tasks. We use several different platforms daily (e.g., FA Solutions, Visma, etc.), and prior experience with the FA Solutions platform is considered an advantage.
    Our clients are primarily Finnish- and Swedish-speaking, so we would appreciate if you had good language skills. We hope you are interested in financial administration and investments and have knowledge of various investment instruments.

    As a person, you are independent, meticulous, and responsible, and you can handle stressful situations effectively. You can prioritize tasks and work independently. You are positive, cheerful, willing to learn more, and not afraid to ask for help when faced with difficult issues.
    You enjoy working with others in a team at our office and are willing to assist your colleagues when needed. You are also sociable and have good rapport with colleagues, clients, and partners.

    What would you do with us?

    In this role, you will be part of a skilled team of over ten people responsible for financial administration services for various types of foundations and associations. With your expertise and customer-oriented approach, you will provide the best possible service to our clients and share responsibility for the services provided to the foundations and associations you work with. Our foundation services are client-oriented, based on the financial administrative responsibilities these organizations have. Your tasks will include bookkeeping, various types of financial administration, taxation, financial statements, client reporting, and administration of any scholarship programs and membership registers. In matters related to foundation law, you will work closely with our experienced lawyers.

    What are we looking for?

    We are looking for an outgoing and independent financial administrator. To succeed in this role, you should have several years of experience in managing the full scope for foundation clients, both in client relations and tasks like annual reports, and be interested in working with the diverse development of our foundation services.

    Our customer service is provided with an active and advisory approach. We value a genuine interest in developing customer relationships and the ability to see financial administration as a whole, with the client’s needs at the forefront. You are organized, able to keep track of details even during hectic periods, and you learn quickly how to work with different financial administration platforms. You thrive as part of our close-knit team, where we collectively develop our operations. Since our clients and work environment are primarily bilingual, we appreciate your fluency in both Finnish and Swedish. Knowledge of English is, of course, also a benefit.

    The Role:

    As a Financial Controller, you will have overall responsibility for your clients’ financial management, which includes, among other things, bookkeeping, tax and other government reporting, preparing financial statements, client reporting, and other corporate administration tasks. We have our own payroll team, so payroll processing is not part of your responsibilities.
    We maintain an active dialogue with our clients, report according to agreement and time frame, and meet regularly, either via Teams or at our offices, depending on the client's preferences.

    We wish:

    We wish that you are a Msc. Econ., BBA or QB with a focus on accounting and that you have at least 3–5 years of work experience in similar independent tasks, as well as previous experience in independently preparing financial statements. We use various financial systems daily, such as Visma Fivaldi, Visma Netvisor, and Fennoa. Since your clients mainly speak Swedish, fluency in Swedish is a requirement for this position. We also hope that you have good working knowledge of Finnish and value English language skills as well.
    We hope you have a genuine interest in financial management, are precise and responsible, have good stress resilience, and can effectively prioritize your tasks. You are curious and willing to figure things out yourself, but also brave enough to ask for help if you encounter new, multifaceted, or difficult questions.
    You are self-reliant, proactive, positive, and cheerful, and you enjoy working together with others at our office. You are a team player who is happy to help others when needed. Additionally, you are social and enjoy communicating with both colleagues and clients.
